What a party!
Alex and JG got married on February 22, 2020 in Downton Memphis, Tennessee. We had so much fun designing and planning this wedding! This #BellaBaxter Couple is just the cutest! We went with a fresh and boho modern overall theme mixed with a little bit of Memphis swagger, New Orleans pizzazz, and Mississippi feel to showcase just a few of the places they love. Alex and JG wanted a wedding with style, so that’s exactly what we gave them. We held the wedding ceremony at No. 2 Vance. It’s this neat industrial historic building that has a gorgeous view of the Mississippi River in Downtown Memphis.
Upon arriving, guests were greeted to a little welcome party filled with champagne and passed appetizers before the ceremony. Alex & JG then got married inside under a gorgeous floral arrangement filled with soft pastels and greenery created by the talented Everbloom Design Memphis.
After they said “I do,” Mr. and Mrs. Bradshaw and their guests were escorted to the reception by the Second Line sounds of the Mighty Souls Brass Band! This was such a fun experience to escort guests to the reception venue just around the corner at Old Dominick Distillery.
For the reception, we wanted a super trendy, fun, and laid back feel to the evening, no formalness. Old Dominick gave us that perfect vibe! Instead of a seated dinner, Alex & JG’s guests enjoyed yummy appetizers provided by HogWild Catering in a comfy and hip lounge atmosphere. The photo booth was the ever popular Amurica! and the sounds of the amazing DJ Derrick D of Uniq Productions to make it a night to remember.
We incorporated so many excting elements into this wedding, really playing homage to Alex and JG’s love for Memphis. Music, cigars, local craft booze, and great food made for the perfect evening. We have so many great memories from this wedding! Happy first year of marriage to Mr. & Mrs. Strange!
