Let’s talk frequently asked questions

 As engagement season nears, the team and I always get lots of awesome questions from potential #BellaBaxter Couples and we thought it would be fun to share a few of the most popular here to help anyone who think they might be a Bella Baxter Couple in the making. So let’s have some fun and dive in!  

Who is BBSE? Well, that’s us —-> Bella Baxter Special Events <—– cause sometimes the whole name all the time is a mouthful lol. 

Where is BBSE located? Like where are you?  In Memphis (aka the MidSouth)  AND Little Rock (aka Central Arkansas) for really real. We pay bills, have team members in both cities, and deep ties to both areas. 

Who is Bella Baxter? Short answer, if you call Katherine “Bella Baxter” she will answer. Long answer, they are two of our dogs because yes, everyone at BBSE is a crazy animal person. We have dogs, cats, turtles, fish, and horses. We are those people lol. 

What services do you offer for Weddings? We offer Month of, Partial, Full Service, Custom, and Destination Wedding Planning with either an Associate Wedding Planner or a Master Wedding Planner. All of our packages are time and guest count based. 

What is your pricing for Weddings? Since there are so many options for planning, there is alot to this question. Quick overview – our Full Service planning packages with an Associate Wedding Planner start at $3900.00 and our Full Service planning packages with a Master Planner start at $5250.00 .  For more information, please hit us up via our Contact page. What is the difference between an Associate Planner and a Master Planner? A BBSE Associate Planner is someone who has a college degree in events, trained for several years under a Master Planner, and is capable of successfully leading a wedding day, but doesn’t have quite the years of experience that a Master Planner has.  A BBSE Master Planner is someone like Katherine, who has a college degree that focused events and service plus over 18 years in the Event Industry and is considered an Expert in their field. 

Do you do other Events? Um, YES! Corporate, Non-Profit, and VIP – but that is for another blog post. We also offer coaching for other small creative business and have a few more things coming down the line for 2021. Stay tuned! 

What is Concierge Wedding Planning? At BBSE we believe that weddings should truly reflect the couples – meaning we build weddings that look like our couples, not like us. We focus on their style, love story, religion, etc. etc. We are concierge because the things we do to build our weddings during planning are custom done – meaning if you need invites stuffed and driven to Romance, Arkansas – we do that OR if you want us to design an Eco Friendly wedding -we do that OR if you want a traditional Memphis throwdown -we do that too! It’s all based on the client and their needs. 

How many Weddings do you take a year?  We limit the number because of non-wedding events, plus we are all actively involved in our communities too.  It’s about 20ish if we are feeling frisky. Space is limited! We do recommend reserving your date early no matter the time length of your wedding package. 

Do you travel? Yes, lots. We have been coast to coast and everywhere between plus a few places farther too. We are also experts at “The Middle of Nowhere” too (and we kinda love it!) . It’s a good part of the reason why we run cloud based communication systems now, we want to make sure you can reach us and we can work no matter where in the world we are. 

Do you do Flowers? No, but we know and are friends with all the best florists! 

Do you do Rentals? No, but we know and are friends with all the best rental companies! 

Do you do Multicultural and LGBTQ+ weddings? Yes, of course! We have lots of experience coordinating events for different religions, cultures, and people. We like just like people at BBSE. 

Do I get to pick and pay my vendors directly?  Absolutely! We just help you identify the best fit vendors for you, negotiate contracts, and manage them for the Wedding day. We have LOTS of Vendor friends locally and all over the country. We want the best one for you to be with you. We are really big on transparency at BBSE. 

Are Initial Consultations About Packages Complimentary? Of course! 

Favorite Wedding Planning Philosophy at BBSE?  It should be fun! It’s a party after all! And if you are not having fun planning it, something is wrong. Parties are FUN! So where is the confetti? Let’s get going!
